In today’s world of digital transformation, the rapid technological change creates a huge impact in several aspects, including education. It is also essential for Thailand’s education system to be reshaped and rebalanced in response to this current flow of change. To be ready to these transformation and future trends, educational innovation, cutting edge teaching methods, and integrated teaching-learning approaches are utilized to create effective educational platforms for the students. Enhancing the quality of medical education is fundamental for life-long benefits to our community, healthcare system as well as current and pressing global healthcare challenges.
In collaboration between the Consortium of Thai Medical Schools; Faculty of Medicine, Prince of Songkla University; School of Medicine, Walailak University; and Princess of Naradhiwas University, will be hosting the “21st Thai Medical Education Conference (TMEC2022): Job Roles of the 2030 Medical Educators: Imagineering the Education Futurists” from January 26 to January 28, 2022 at Phuket Graceland Resort & Spa, Phuket, Thailand
This Medical Education Conference is organized in response to the rapid change in this Digital Transformation Era, in order to enhance the capability of medical education and produce medical graduate with the highest level of knowledge and skills. The conference builds upon the goodwill and collaborative spirit, aiming to create great opportunities for all of medical lecturers, healthcare staff, supporting staff, and medical students to exchange experiences and share their knowledge and up-to-date researches in medical education.
Purposes
1. To enhance the comprehension on up-to-date and future trends of medical education.
2. To enhance the engagement in utilizing healthcare reform concept into quality improvement and educational standards among medical schools in Thailand.
3. To create a platform and build network for national and international medical educators to exchange experiences and share knowledge and up-to-date researches in medical education.
4. To encourage medical lecturers, officer and students to conduct research in the field of medical education.
